Guys, how to take control back from automation which was put into oracle versions since 10g through out 11.2 ? I am looking for a good summary of steps to get rid of spfile, flash areas, recycle bins, ASM, automatic SGAs, etc.. so we can get performance back to normal. Stop driving automatic - lets go back to manual.
